Maximum of 12 years for those serving senators and 4 years for those serving representatives. And no double dipping, can't serve representatives for 4 years the. Switch it up and serve senators for another 12…

Draconian! , it doesn't matter if you allow five for a representative or two for a Senator, they all want more. They want a career! In any case there will be no proposal for an amendment if it is not placed at least thirty years out to allow some to finish their career!

I dont believe in term limits. You have a representative thats doing his job well why would you want to get rid of him? Sometimes the devil you know is better than the one you don't. Term limits would just leave a huge bunch of representatives and senators every cycle who are free to vote their conscience in their last lame duck term like thats a good idea . The threat of the ballot box needs to be real.
