Every time this kind of "info" is shared on line I ask, any links to this EVER happening. So far I have yet to see any. All I ever hear is well my bother knew a guy who said he heard..................
As far as I can tell this has never happened, yet regularly it's brought up again and again.

Alexx, The word you were looking for was Case, not "link". There are numerous cases around the country where "the cost or price of a gun" was used as a argument against the gun owner. Many times is was argued as pre-meditation. My Fathers practice has argued a few of these cases over the years, winning most, but also losing a few. It is a great bargaining tool for a DA to use to get someone to plead to a lesser charge. This follows along with the old adage- the nail that sticks up get hammered down!

A great resource to look some of these up is- Find-Law.

I already own the STI DVC 3 Gun and I love it. As you can see, I like the good stuff and don't mind spending money for a nice firearm. I'm lacking in a good conceal carry gun. I used to carry a Sig P229 SAS Gen II, but sold it. I would like something with a great trigger and short reset. The smooth slide and awesome trigger on the STI DVC 3 Gun has spoiled me. Looking to replace the Sig P229 with an upgrade. I've learned with a good trigger along with practice brings more accuracy. The Sig P226 West German below would work, but I was looking for something a little nicer.

If you are looking for accuracy, reliability and a good trigger the Walther PPQ is light weight, has good capacity and a great trigger. The drawbacks are it's polymer, striker fire and somewhat ugly. I like mine, a lot.

Expensive and pretty don't add up to reliability. When I think of good concealed carry guns, I think of more utilitarian, well vetted pieces. I am not saying your choices couldn't be made to work, but out of the box, I think there are better choices.

Not sure what the cost of a firearm has to do with weather or not you were looking for a fight. Carry a Glock: No jail time. Carry a Sig: Maybe go to jail. Carry a Wilson Combat: Go straight to jail.

LOL, this again is one of those things that used to be called "Urban legend". Used to be spread by watering hole and work chat and such. After Algore invented the internet stuff like this took on a life of it's own. Often with people now even sharing links to show they know what they are talking about. Of course if you read the links all they are in others on the net making the same claims. It's not just this but a whole lot of this stuff. Often people start reading it and can no longer distinguish between legit info with some form of back up and the "noise" that gets repeated as fact.
I well remember when my Father was first shown the "net". He had for years called me to ask me to look stuff up. Finally got him to just buy a PC and hooked it up. After he got over the kid in the candy store free porn he next had to learn that it was not a giant newspaper. Took a while for him to get that anyone could say anything so much of it meant nothing.
