So I was going through some brass that I picked up, and came across some that look like this:

This is once fired lc brass. Did it come from the factory like this or did this happen after its been fired? I'm assuming I shouldn't even reuse this correct?

I would say that you now know why it was left behind at the range.

The fact that the "base" of the cartridge is clean and shiny, while the body is all pocked and scratched, is clearly a case of dirty chamber. Looks like someone needs a chamber brush, or if they have one already, USE IT! After all, we who scavenge brass expect better than this:cool::cool:
