ATF released a report that‘s been years in the making and the stark reality is that the Biden administration’s admonishments of the firearm industry are entirely off target.

"The ATF's report found just 136 cases of illegal firearm trafficking tied to a federal firearms licensee (FFL) over a five year period. That's just 1.6 percent of all 9,700 cases.-------Conversely, illegal straw purchases and private sales accounted for 80 percent of all cases. Stolen firearms represented another 25 percent of cases of illegally-trafficked firearms."

Edit. Math isn't mathing? Probably a big overlap between illegal private (knowingly selling to prohibited persons and not using FFLs in States where "UBCs" are law) sales and stolen firearms.

It's people knowingly breaking the law by doing straw purchases. Something that no law can actually stop. It's already illegal.
Guys with clean records start buying guns and selling them OR these prohibited folks get their girls to do it, 80% kits and lastly house firearm robberies..
not demonizing 80% kits, but a lot of the auto switch Glock guys on YouTube are the ones with these 80% AR and Glock kits.

It kills me some inside, when I have to keep hearing Captain Mumbles telling the ignorant masses that all gun sales are done without background checks and we need some new law. bubblegumING morons.
