Summer 2008 I went to help out the local troop a Boy Scout summer camp. During the week I met up with a scout master from the Winnemuca Nevada area. He was a forester an actual scientist after chatting we went out to his truck and picked up a thing to take a bore sample from a tree. The tree growth rings were explained ,the health of the tree the climate and rain fall which is shown by the tree rings. According to the foresters interpretation of the core sample was there has been an increasing cycle of drought for over 200 years." We counted the rings and looked at the ring size it was interesting.
