I have ordered numerous receivers but in light of the covid 19 situation shipping is delayed on all fronts. I ordered a jig and 80%er. Just wondering if that's still allowed here.
Yes they are fine as long as the seller will ship here. The state took a shot at doing away with them here but, as so often happens the people writing the laws don't know a gun from a cow. So they did not, yet, ban them. Since they are doing some REALLY sloppy laws though some sellers stopped shipping to us. 5d makes a really nice jig. When I bought mine it took about a month to get it and that was LONG before all this. So it will be slow but if that's who you ordered from they are nice.

I have ordered one from them and one from 80%. Also have ordered several different brand 80's. Lol I'm bored having to stay home, so I want to give this a try. Already built some p80s

Yes, as @Reed said, "for now."
But with Jackboot Jay and Sideshow Bob stretching their COVID-19 "emergency powers", I wouldn't count on that being the case for much longer...

Should enjoy it when they get to you. I had for years seen and heard of them, never interested. When they started making noises about bans I decided may as well try. Was shockingly easy. When I went to build my first lower I bought a DVD and a book. Did not need either of them. Simple demo video from CMMG showed the steps and the damn things just go together and work. Made a pistol and a rifle so far. LOT of damn fun to head to the range with one you made and have it work:D

I was a lot like you, @Alexx1401. Same motivation drove me to get a jig and a 3-pack of lowers January a year ago. Built one carbine and two pistols.
As you say, shockingly easy. I just watched a YouTube video and that was it. Got it down to an hour and half and a few beers by the third one. :)
Not only is it a lot of fun to have something that you made actually work, but I especially like the idea that it doesn't have a number stamped on it...

@Builder Just take your time and don't take too big of bites with the end mill and you will have some very pretty milled out lowers in no time...

If/when 80% lowers are made illegal what should we expect for the folks that already own them?
Nothing. It's not like there's a number with which to track them or know who has them...

Hence, the beauty of owning one (or more), and why the Left hates the idea of you owning one (or more)...

I would not be so confident. Recall that in the last session, an initiative was passed without much fanfare that gives TPTB in Olympia the "right" to suspend the State Constitution in times of "emergency." In what state do you think we are right now, what with the COVID-19 thing? Let that sink in...

Do a DuckDuckGo (or GoogleSpy, if you prefer) search for SJR 8200, which quietly passed the legislature about a year ago, and voters stupidly approved via initiative last November. It is not a far stretch to see how Jackboot Jay and Sideshow Bob and the Leftist powers that be in Olympia could/would use the COVID emergency to trample and/or extinguish our 2A rights, which are guaranteed by Section 24 of the WA State Constitution.

SJR 8200 summary, pros & cons

Below is the amended section of Article II, Section 42 of the WA State Constitution, as amended by SJR 8200's initiative passing (the bold italicized and/or underlined print is my emphasis):

SECTION 42 GOVERNMENTAL CONTINUITY DURING EMERGENCY PERIODS.
The legislature, in order to insure continuity of state and local governmental operations in periods of emergency resulting from a catastrophic incident or enemy attack, shall have the power and the duty, immediately upon and after adoption of this amendment, to enact legislation providing for prompt and temporary succession to the powers and duties of public offices of whatever nature and whether filled by election or appointment, the incumbents and legal successors of which may become unavailable for carrying on the powers and duties of such offices; the legislature shall likewise enact such other measures as may be necessary and proper for insuring the continuity of governmental operations during such emergencies. Legislation enacted under the powers conferred by this amendment shall in all respects conform to the remainder of the Constitution: Provided, That if, in the judgment of the legislature at the time of the emergency, conformance to the provisions of the Constitution would be impracticable or would admit of undue delay, such legislation may depart during the period of emergency caused by a catastrophic incident or enemy attack only, from the following sections of the Constitution:
Article 14, Sections 1 and 2, Seat of Government;
Article 2, Sections 8, 15 (Amendments 13 and 32), and 22, Membership, Quorum of Legislature and Passage of Bills;
Article 3, Section 10 (Amendment 6), Succession to Governorship: Provided, That the legislature shall not depart from Section 10, Article III, as amended by Amendment 6, of the state Constitution relating to the Governor's office so long as any successor therein named is available and capable of assuming the powers and duties of such office as therein prescribed;
Article 3, Section 13, Vacancies in State Offices;
Article 11, Section 6, Vacancies in County Offices;
Article 11, Section 2, Seat of County Government;
Article 3, Section 24, State Records. [AMENDMENT 109, 2019 Senate Joint Resolution No. 8200. Approved November 5, 2019.]
