As the title says, I have good condition Marlin Model 60 that was manufactured in 1978, that I would like to sell, and was wondering what it's worth. Digging on the internet, I can only find prices of newer, used ones, and the average price seems to be around $150 to $250. Does a "vintage" Model 60 command a higher price, or is the age not really relevant with these rifles?
 
On this forum? No, a vintage Marlin holds no premium over a newer model. Your $150-$250 is an accurate evaluation. An 18rd, LRBHO is going to be worth a bit more, but not much.
 
1978 is not particularly 'vintage'.

If It has something different about it, a unique design or feature, or otherwise no longer made then it might have some collectability but I don't think there was anything like this with them.
