I've had 2 good purchases.

A 3rd attempt at a purchase was quickly found to be a scam.

I always ask the seller to take a quick picture of a certain area "so I can check out the condition". And ask them to put something in the picture (a nickel, dime, stick of bubblegum, etc.). This way you know they have the item in their possession.

Some guy in Vancouver just tried to have me sell him my 1911 FTF without going thru an FFL. Because he didn't want the government in his business. That's a first for me.
