Any good front carry holsters out there?

Maybe define "front carry"... and the gun in question. The first thing that pops into my head is a 5" 1911 in a cross draw... tried it, didn't like it much. What are you thinking?

    Cheers,

Compact 1911 carried in 1 o'clock position. I use a crossbreed for a 5 o'clock carry now just looking for options.

Right handed I assume, so just to the right of center.
    Straight, angle... adjustable for rake?
    Belt, paddle or IWB?
How much $ did you want to spend... in other words, just trying it out with Kydex, or willing to drop $ for nice leather?

    Cheers,
    C

Right hand, adjustable for ride height and cant . Looking for comfort and ease of carry and draw. Willing to consider all types as I've only used the crossbreed so far.

    Take a look at:

    OWB -
Blade Tech belt holster with Tek-loc or paddle.
    Kirkpatrick TCD
    Galco dual position Phoenix
    Bullard cross draw
    Kramer cross draw
    Fist #42
    Andrews custom "Carjacker" and "Macdaniel"

    IWB -
Horseshoe leather 28X (Andy Arratoonian in the UK)
    Garrity In-victus
    Comp-tac Minotaur

    Head hurts now... Cheers,
    C
