I'm surprised you don't already have one for your black powder collection.

I have seen several that have been very tempting...but I needed the money to go elsewhere at the time...or I felt that I needed a different piece for my collection more at that time...

They are a interesting design and show up quite a lot in sales ledgers or journals and such....I'll get one , one day...

I found a deringer in .45 Colt not long ago, I prolly should have snatched it up, it was only $70 out the door! woulda shoulda!

I'd want a Colt single action army in .45 Colt... But Colt can't make enough to keep them on shelves... Or just won't. Makes me a sad clown cause I like the one my friend has.

If someone wanted to carry a gun in say , their workplace , that has a strict no firearms allowed policy.

I think that's the only reason to carry a derringer. I have known a couple college professors who carried derringers while at work. Both were engineering professors and both had received numerous threats from former students.
