My son is thinking about buying one of these, hangered at my place. If I had to retrieve people, this would work great. Only thing is vulnerable to small arms fire, but pretty much any mode of transportation is.

The ability to transit these rivers and waterways is what is going to limit movement greatly. If a bridge is intact, it will be a control choke point for any op for. Zip lines to cross small waterways, water craft to navigate the larger ones. I intend on staying put anyway, but if you think about how many bridges over water or overpass/ underpass you have to transit on a given day, then combine that with bazillions on people on the road, and then all the vehicles that would be abandoned....nasty.
