Well, I just got back from the show. Didn't see anyone from here, but did run into a buddy who lives in Corvallis!

As far as shows go, this one was definitely better than the crap they try to pass off as a show at the Expo Center in Portland. There were really only two vendors at Albany that I felt didn't really belong.

As for stuff in general, the usual. Alot of stuff also overpriced which I'm still scratching my head about. For instance, a gal selling Boyd's SS Evolution stocks for $140.00. The manufacturer sells them for $99.00. Even when you factor in shipping, it's still less than buying from the gal at the show. Weird.

As for gun shows in general, I think this will definitely be my last one. I guess I just don't have the time or inclination to pour over table after table of guns and crappy gun accessories when I can get it online for usually cheaper anyway. However, it WAS still a good experience.

Anyone know if there are some good quality AR uppers there? Never been. Might be worth heading down from Tigard though. I have a fresh lower looking for its 2nd half... Been looking at the Palmetto stuff but If I can find something comparable and local I'm a buyer... And a 100 mile round trip driver.
