That is what I was wanting to know. The reason I ask when I was shooting my 44 handgun on the first set of 6 I had a spread of 7 FPS and the second two it was 25 and 38. So this could have been different amount of powder drop or maybe different bullet weight

The more you shoot, the more you'll likely find that the first batch was the "abnormal" one.
I've had a few loads, both factory and handloads that have a very low fps spread, but most vary a bit.
