If you do the action which your OP is about...
You are also involving yourself into his legal troubles...as well as opening yourself up to ones of your own.

I am not saying to not do what you are saying...
I am saying that to do so is fraught with danger....and if you do as your OP says....
Understand that actions have consequences.
As well as knowing that the law and courts can be unpredictable with the handing out of consequences.

And with that said....
Asking for legal advice over the internet , is not a good idea either....
