Forest Grove and Hillsboro police and Washington County sheriff's deputies responded to the Cannons' Forest Grove home on 37th Avenue. Many of those who responded knew Tim or Lisa Cannon or both.

Tim Cannon refused to surrender. He barricaded himself inside the house and armed himself. He threatened to kill police responding to the scene, including his co-worker, Hillsboro Police Officer Steven Slade, who was attempting to talk him down. At some point during the siege, he killed the family cat, shooting it in the head. When law enforcement personnel broke their way into the home, he opened fire on them as well, shooting through the walls and floor from upstairs and injuring a deputy before he was finally taken into custody. In all, investigators later said, more than 100 shots were fired in the fracas.

Ok, WHAT is it you REALLY want to talk about, this is the second thread you make mention of the same event, with no context or opinion, or personal connection, and you want to discuss it with us?

Do not reply when you are obviously not interested and make personal attacks. Give facts and make a logical argument.
