Not so much anymore. I lusted after a 1917 Smith or New Service Colt in the .45acp for a long time- finally found a nice Colt 1917- got some 1/3 moon-clips and proceeded to bang away at the hill at the rear of the family property. Well and good and I began reloading for it... got some silver-tips too. Well my tastes changed and I sprung for a Combat Commander and sold the revolver down the river. A revolver that size in .45acp would have been fine in ww1, but one that size calls for a .357 chambering at the least, in my book. I liked it fine for what it was... but it was neither fish nor fowl, as they say. I hope it's in someone's collection, it was a good-looking revolver, esp for it's age..
