The Volkswagen Golf Mk5 (codenamed Typ 1K) is a compact car, the fifth generation of the Volkswagen Golf and the successor to the Volkswagen Golf Mk4. Built on the Volkswagen Group A5 (PQ35) platform, it was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in October 2003 and went on sale in Europe one month later. A compact MPV version of the car was produced as the Golf Plus.
The Golf Mk5 was replaced in 2009 by the Volkswagen Golf Mk6.

Weatherby mk v stock refinish
Picked up a nice mk v in 300 wby. It dates to 1962, and at first examination it looked like a nice example. Metal is is in great condition, but the wood had been recoated with polyurethane over the original lacquer, a bloody mess to try and get off. I found a really good deal on a used Weatherby mark 5. An older model with Blue steel and a nice wood stock. I have coveted one for a long time. Yes I know ammo is pricey. Can LAR Grizzly Mk V with 44 magnum conversion kit be reamed to 429 DE magnum?
Considering of buying a LAR Grizzly Mk V 50AE with a 44 magnum conversion kit(uses same slide as 50AE) and having the barrel reamed to shoot 429 DE magnum rounds(factory loads 210/240 grains). What are your opinions about this?- Discussion Thread in Maintenance & Gunsmithing
