.22 pistol
High Standard target pistols were manufactured in a variety of models in .22 Short and .22 Long Rifle chamberings for use in competition. One selling point was the similarity in grip angle and manual safety location to the M1911A1 series, a pistol common in service pistol competition. Manufactured from 1926 until 2018, High Standards are generally regarded as a classic .22 target pistol, and were common in national-level NRA Bullseye match shooting. Popular models include the High Standard Victor, Supermatic and Supermatic Trophy, and Olympic. Today, High Standards are popular among gun collectors.A variant of the World War II-era High Standard target pistol was used as the basis for the High Standard HDM suppressed military model used by the Office of Strategic Services and later the US Military and Central Intelligence Agency.

As I have a sickness that I’ve mentioned in other threads, need advice on a new .22 pistol. I have my dad’s Hi-Standard and a Ruger Single-ten but feel compelled to have a new one. Should I get a new auto piston or a conversion kit for a 1911?
Thanks

Steyr RFP .22 - buyer pays transfer
A like-new .22 from Steyr. Built by ISSC Austria, it's a hammer fired SAO rather than striker fired like the M9A1 it mimics. Mags are very heavy and sturdy feeling, stainless barrel, adjustable sights.
Includes 4x factory 10 round magazines.
Looking for a nice Ruger Mark series for target shooting. Been trying to find a stainless Mark IV with a threaded barrel locally but have not had any luck. Would consider other models/finishes, but not looking for Lites, Hunters or 22/45s. Let me know what you’ve got! I have cash or can...
