I'm curious to see what people might be choosing as their most common caliber, and by this I mean either the caliber for which you have the most rounds on hand, you have the most weapons for that caliber, or both.

I know I didn't list all calibers out there - I polled based on what seemed to be the most common, and the poll has a limit of 10 possible answers.

Finally, this thread wasn't intended to start a discussion "war" over what is perceived to be good or bad. :)

What! No war against those inferior calibers! What the heck!

I find that I have more 5.56N than anything else, though 7.62N is a close second and my favorite. I just noticed that I have at least one of every caliber listed usually multiples.

I have 11 .22's that I can think of. At least 1 of everything else on the list besides 7.62x39. Definitely the most .22 rounds 2nded by .223/5.56 and 45.acp. Lots of components for reloading everything from 9mm to 7mag.

For ammo, I have way more 22lr than all the rest of calibers combined, which goes with the number of firearms chambered for 22lr; 2 pistols and 4 rifles. I only have one gun of each of these calibers: 9mm, .223/5.56, 30-06, and 300 Savage

I have 5000 rounds or enough components to reload for 5000 rounds of the following calibers 556,9mm,44mag,22lr and 6x45 and 200-300 rounds for my hunting rifles/shotguns
