It's like the Isetta's ugly sister. :) Or less ugly sister. Hard to say.

You might be in your 50's if ... The .22lr you learned to shoot with was a single shot Remington 5 series or Winchester 67 / 68 at Boy Scout summer camp.
Andy
I was an abused child. My dad was "playing" with his 22lr rifle and wizzed a shot right past a guy's head, that was in the woods he was shooting at.Apparently gramps didn't teach my dad to make sure he had a proper back stop.
So,I:( never:(got a 22 as a kid:(
:s0058:
But I had my red rider bb gun and never shot anyone's eye out

Every single one. If you meant All in the Family.

You might older than you think if you grew up hearing from your Grandfather, a decorated Marine Veteran of WWII in the South Pacific, and Korea, have a swearing fit any time MacArthur's name was mentioned on the tv.

Then we'd watch The Benny Hill Show together.

Good times.

I'm sorry but I disagree .
MacArthur was a grandstanding SOB who did not listen to his troop commanders in Korea.
I feel that MacArthur's actions in Korea brought the Chinese into the war earlier than what they were already intending to do.
No disrespect to you but a true military has the respect of his command not the fear of saying the wrong thing and being transfered out.

I'm sorry but he was just a worthless in the Pacific as well.
I could list some reasons why I feel that way , but that would be way off thread topic.
But that is how I think, If you admire him , then good for you. It is nice to have a hero and someone to look up to.
