While we don't have 5 flights of stairs at my school...
I walk the stairs more than five times a day....does that count...? :D

I would think so. One thing worth mentioning. Those who walked stairs, then stopped were at greater risk of heart disease than those who never started the stair walking. If you start a stair walking program, don't stop.

"Participants who stopped stair climbing between the baseline and resurvey had a higher risk of ASCVD compared with those who never climbed stairs."
 
I used to use stairs more before my knee wore out. I hope having it replaced soon will let me resume using stairs.

I have noticed a decline in muscle tone since my knee wore out. I think the delay in addressing it by my "almost socialized medicine" provider will have shortened my lifespan somewhat.
