This video has been published by WAPO. This video was taken by "...John Sullivan, a controversial self-described liberal activist who shoots video at a range of protests and who filmed the footage on Wednesday..." Just happened to be at the vanguard of the intruders (Will he be arrested? Everybody seems to know who he is.)
Answer to my own question:

Sullivan, described by the Washington Post as a "controversial self-described liberal activist" is actually a BLM organizer from Utah. He was among the group with Ashli when she was shot. He was arrested and apparently released without charges:

No!

Her and Diane Feinstein are crypt keepers...

Remember the movie "The Witches"?

Would nancy p. be thought of as a Patriot ?

Going by the definition of "Those with power define patriotism" -- then yes. She and her ilk have power and will thus be the arbiters of who is and who is not a patriot. She will never however be a patriot of they type our Founders were -- they were patriots to a set of principles enshrined in the Constitution, and that is a much different standard.

Hitler was voted in by the people who loved him because he "spoke" to them and their perceptions. What is going on America?
No, Hitler wasn't "voted in by the people". If truth matters then people who write or talk about Hitler should at least learn some history first.

There were two Reichstag elections in July and November 1932. The National Socialists never had a majority in the Reichstag and in the second Reichstag election of 1932 they lost 34 seats--more than any other party--and were unable to form a parliamentary majority. Hitler was never elected to national office in a functioning parliamentary democracy, he was appointed by Hindenburg as Chancellor in 1933 and then he exploited the Reichstag fire to tighten his grip on power, including gutting the German parliament.

Despite all that Hitler might still have been stopped in 1933 had it not been for two key, fateful events that year. First, the Centre Party, a Roman Catholic party, succumbed to fear and dissolved itself in the wake of the Reichskonkordat, an agreement between the Vatican and Hitler's government. Second, the Jewish Zionist Federation of Germany concluded their own deal with Hitler's government, known in Hebrew as the Haavara Agreement, and broke the international economic boycott of Germany.

Ultimately, though, the rise of the Nazis in Germany can be placed squarely at the feet of the punitive, victorious allies and the oppressive terms of the Treaty of Versailles following WW I. Then add in the impact of the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia along with not one but three communist uprisings in Germany (the most notable being the Bavarian Soviet Republic) and the failure of the Left-dominated Weimar Republic in the midst of the Great Depression and you have a crisis ready to be exploited.

Trump got played every step of the way, and especially during the time when the GOP had both houses. The people who wormed their way into the cabinet, the congress figures who promised to do things later -- they all managed Trump. On both sides. He fired people who had his best interests at heart early on (Bannon for example) and took on snakes (Bolton for example).

If another chance arises, the Trump years should be studied carefully in order to avoid the same mistakes.
I mostly agree with you except that I think saying "Trump got played" shifts far too much responsibility away from Trump himself. Trump only rarely, if ever, demonstrated the knowledge, wisdom, principle, discipline, and competence required to rise to the level of the awesome responsibilities of the office he assumed and to his fellow Americans. He was facing hurricane force headwinds from his political and media opponents but he knew that going in and he never upped his game.

Does anyone know what her specific intentions were? I assumed it was to prevent Joe from being confirmed, or at least to protest it - a righteous and Patriotic cause.

I think so. I've read that she made social media statements and vids saying she planned to storm the Capitol etc, but admit that I don't personally know the specifics.

Is this equal application of justice?????????

One thing I notice is that the DC thing right or wrong was directed at what they were angry at and not looted, In Potland countless businesses and innocent bystanders that had nothing to do with any of it . where trashed some people stopped on the street and attacked for wondering into the wrong place At wrong time. I would never have thought these things would happen in the usa. I remember the protest in the late 60,s early 70s .unless Im forgetting something this mess looks to be much worse.
I think we already all know this, but we keep bringing up West Coast riots. The riots happening repeatedly throughout the US were even worse in severity than what happened in OR and WA. I was in Minneapolis when the initial riots were going on, they literally burned significant numbers of buildings down, and put the police in full retreat.
Portland riots/protests claim to fame would be how Wheeler allowed them to go on for so long, non stop.

I think these outcomes shaped the DC incident, there had been an apparent "past practice" established by the authorities, and since Trumpers have been waiting for "the right time" maybe they thought (obviously, wrongly so) that they'd be treated the same as those who killed, assaulted, burned, looted so much before.

Painting with a broad brush again. Wow, you seem to really hate "Trumpers".

I think a lot of "Trumpers" were there only to voice their protest over the election. Some of the crowd obviously had bad intentions to start with, but some apparently fell victim to mob mentality at the time. There are also reports of BLM/AntiFA being in the crowd, and those are know instigators. As well as reports that some protestors were let in. To be fair, shouldn't we consider those things instead of making blanket/broad statements encompassing everyone that was there?

However, AFAIK not all the protestors stormed the building or engaged in violent acts and riotous behavior, as you keep forgetting. The only thing they may be guilty of is failure to disperse when so ordered, but I would assume that some of them did leave when told... that would be consistent with past behavior of "Trumpers".

People have a right to assemble/protest/rally/demonstrate until it becomes unruly/violent/disruptive and is declared an unlawful assembly. When massive violence/resistance breaks out it is then termed by reporters to be a "riot" but I'm not sure that is a legal term.

As a 2-time Trump voter, I can assure you I am saying "Trumpers" as a short-form of "Trump supporters" (which it appears was the vast majority) and not as a condescending term. And, no where did I ever accuse "Trump supporters" of being riotous or violent. I have always maintained that they are being treated unfairly in every aspect and that it was wrong to shoot Ashli.

This is at least the 2nd time you've accused me of "painting with a broad brush".
I feel you are arguing with your mis-interpretation of my very non-specific thoughts.
I feel you are getting "triggered" every time I say "Trumper" and taking it personally and then assuming I am accusing Trumpers of being engaged in "violent acts" or "riotous behavior"

Good to know.

But I asked you earlier to define what you were saying, since you repeatedly use terms like "All these" and make broad statements that encompass everyone that was there. I gave you a chance to explain that you don't really mean "everybody or every Trumper" and you did not take it. And you continue to make negative all encompassing broad statements instead of being specific in what group or part of the group you are indicting. What else am I supposed to think?

Triggered, no. It's on you for not responding to a reasonable question about what you meant.

For instance, this is a rather large assumption/accusation/statement/whatever that is total BS because it implies that all Trumpers have been waiting for the right time to stage the equivalent of other places where rioters have "Killed, assaulted, burned, looted.

I'm not triggered. I'm offended since I am a Trumper and I have not been waiting for the right time to do those things nor have any of my Trumper friends.

You could have specified that "some" Trumpers, or "those Trumpers that took part in the assault" but you didn't. I'm just asking you to be more careful what you write if you don't want to be misunderstood.

One thing I learned in this forum is that making negative comments about any labeled group (which is against forum rules) is risky because there is always a member here that is part of that group.

He did imply up above he is a Trumper, so that would imply he is one of those waiting for the opportunity as he mentioned
