From this weekend while fishing, from my favorite local brewery:

So my mom, gma, and GPA went to a Mexican place last night for dinner and enjoyed some margaritas. Gma sent a screenshot of the uber order to drive them home.

Moritz Epidor

This isn't your average Barcelona lager.

Deep amber pour with toasted malt, caramel, and a little dried fruit on the nose. Richer body than most Spanish beers, but still surprisingly smooth.

First sip hits with sweet malt and toffee, then finishes dry with just enough bitterness to keep it balanced. Strong without feeling heavy.

ABV: 7.2%
Verdict: 7.5/10

Feels perfectly engineered for a Barcelona balcony, warm air, and questionable decisions after "just one more."

More backbone than your typical Mediterranean crusher.

Man, one of the few best things I miss about Florida is all the Cuban food, that beautiful stuff in the bowl was called chicharrones, heart attack inducing but good stuff none the less.
Im constantly amazed at how many ex-pat Floridians are here in Oregon. Maybe I shouldn't be, since I'm one too...

Leffe Blonde

Smooth, slightly sweet, and deceptively strong. Banana, clove, honey, and a little malt richness up front, followed by a clean, warming finish.

Creamy, low bitterness, and dangerously easy to drink for 6.6%.

ABV: 6.6%
Verdict: 7.5/10

Classic Belgian "this goes down easier than it should" territory.

Hits especially well on a Barcelona balcony above a narrow Gothic Quarter street while the city buzzes below. 😎

Just following your posts, I did not spend enough time in Barcelona!

We did a tour of Gaudi architecture and ate at a great Tapas bar and stayed at a downtown hotel with sketchy elevators, but I do envy the free time you have to enjoy it!

A.K. Damm

Clean, crisp, and a little more refined than your average Spanish lager. Light golden pour with bready malt, floral hops, and a subtle herbal note from the Alsatian influence.

Smooth up front, mildly bitter on the finish, and very easy to drink without feeling watery.

ABV: 4.8% (apologies in advance to @Mono1)

Verdict: 7/10

Easygoing, balanced, and built for long Barcelona afternoons on a balcony above the city.

Edited to add that photo won't upload.
