Just cracked a Modelo Especial. Well, it has been a Monday, and one of those vexing days in which much is worked on, but little accomplished. But it is good to be home.

Just got back from Liquor Outlet, and now I'm tasting my spoils. Ransom Dry Gin, Appleton Estate Signature Blend Rum, and Del Maguey Vida de San Luis Del Rio Mezcal.

BCAA now. Maybe I should have snuck in some vodka. The stuff I have is one of the Jolly Ranchers flavors - pink.

After action report, the Gin is good, might be my new "Neat" Gin, the rum is a huge step up from Bacardi, and the Mezcal is interesting I'll have to experiment with it but I probably won't buy it again.

I had a blood orange daiquiri with dinner and I decided to infuse the mezcal with habeneros and oranges so I've been taste testing all night. It's an improvement.

I just pulled the peppers out of the less hot one and put in the blood orange zest.
