Unless your wife visits this forum, I'd recommend you not burning your energy here, but set up a well thought out strategy to win her over. Careful, the first argument might be "You have too many guns anyway! Get rid of some and it'll fit your safe!". So don't go for the main cause at first. Take it easy and if you're willing plus your budget supports it, take her shoe shopping. A LOT. At some point she'll say "It won't fit in my shoe rack/cabinet/closet/room (although I hope you're still saved from the last one ). This is where you suggest to buy a bigger or another shoestorage closet, something nice. Once that idea is fully appreciated, your new gun safe is not an issue anymore.
