Washington Primary candidates? Who will protect the 2nd amendment?

Below is the list of primary candidates for the Cark County Washington Primary and Special Election. Can folks out there help me to identify who the best candidates are as far as protecting our 2nd amendment rights? I don't care what so-called "Party" they affiliate with, only want to know who will stand up to the gun grabbers.

Any notes on who is a gun grabber would also be appreciated.

Ferguson is hardcore anti. Nowhere to go but Up from him. For some reason, Franz for Public Lands just seems fake to my gut...

Kreidler's been around forever, and is long overdue for forced retirement--he'd love nothing more than to put the industry he's supposed to regulate and manage out of business completely.

From Joe Waldron at GOAL-WA and WAC over at the WA-CCW Yahoo Group:
"The Gun Owners Action League of WA and the Washington Arms Collectors
are supporting:

Position 1 Greg Zempel

Position 5 Dave Larson

Position 6 David DeWolf"

NRA-ILA has endorsed Steve Hobbs for LtGov.

There is not a single Democrat that is pro-2A. Not a one. I got a notice about Steve Hobbs being endorsed by the NRA. I don't think so. Hobbs has a record in the State Senate. That record is pro-teachers' union, and pro-income redistribution. Party line Democrat. Not pro-2A.

not so much 2A but Davidson (treasurer) opposes a state income tax - not sure about his opponents.
You can look up Jaime Herrera Butler's voting record (incumbent U.S. Representative) - I haven't done my research so far but iirc she was the best bet.

For Senate:

Phil Cornell - Democrat
<broken link removed>
Seems ok with guns in general, considering AR15 ban but possibly open to other routes he seems to claim?

Sam Wright -- human rights party
More info needed, has Email contact. Likely unelectable grassroots candidate.
[email protected]

Chris Vance -- Republican
Pro 2A, pro semiauto rifles
Favors more mental health info being sent to FBI for gun purchases

Uncle Mover -- Perennial party? (FFS washington...)
Looks like a whackjob
Mover, who resides in Snohomish County, has twice been criminally convicted of operating an illegal moving business, and is the subject of a restraining order from the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission stemming from his mailing of "nearly nude" photos of himself to the commission's office.[3]

Zach Heller -- Democrat
Dropped out of race

Donna Rae Lands -- Conservative party
No info on gun control, primary concern seems to be sewage treatment? Seems kinda whacko. Grassroots.

Mohammad Said -- Democrat
Advocates 2A as a privilege and NOT a right

Eric John Makus -- Republican
Advocates for 2A rights, no further details on 2A.

Alex Tsimerman -- Standupamerica Party (wth with the ridiculous party names)
Seems to strongly support freedoms and constitutional rights, no info specifically on 2A, is NOT accepting donations for his campaign, seems like a fringe candidate.

Dr Pano Churchill -- lincoln caucus party
no idea, this guy seems unelectable in any regard, primary focus seems to be corruption in politics. Grassroots candidate.

Patty Murray - Democrat
lol moving on

Ted Cummings -- Democrat/Indie
no info on 2A rights.

Thor Amundson -- Democrat
Name is Thor. Points for that. Seems in favor of 2A? from a FB question repsonse:
My stand on the second amendment is that Americans have the right to own a gun. We talk about gun control and free ownership far too much, and it prompts people to commit horrible actions in order to gain attention. We need to stop talking about guns and allow people to own their guns. Right on Thor. Looks like grassroots campaign, likely unelectable.

Scott Nazarino - Republican
Claims support for 2A.

Mike Luke - Libertarian
Libertarians are our friends. This guy supports 2A as a "no brainer" issue.

Chuck Jackson -- Indie
His webpage is written like a freaking typewriter. seems totally fringe, impossible he'll ever get elected regardless of his 2A-friendly stance.

Jeremy Teuton -- Reboot Party (seriously wtf Washington)
Ballotpedia rates as "Safely democrat", issues reflect this. ignore this guy.

================================================

Candidates which in my opinion should be not even considered either for being unelectable/not a serious campaign or for being anti 2A I highlighted Red. Yellow'ish highlight for possible candidates, or needs more information.

Very well done brother..good job

US Representative - District 3:

David McDemitt -- Democrat
Possible AWB proponent, claims to support 2A rights?
"Support common sense regulation consistent with Heller and McDonald."

Jim Moeller -- Democrat
Gun grabber.

Angela Marx - Democrat
No info on gun control that I can find

Kathleen (Grandma Warrior) Arthur -- Democrat
Almost no information available on political positions. Doesn't look like a serious campaign.

L.A. (Worthy) Worthington -- Indie
No information on gun control, more info needed.

Jaime Hererra Beutler -- Republican (Incumbent)
appears to be pro 2A. Not a great track record on voting in congress, misses ~11% of votes.
"leans more toward trying to fix the nation's mental health system rather than placing additional regulations on gun ownership. In many cases, people who kill en masse don't even own the guns they used in the shooting, she said."

==============================

Our only option really appears to be the one already in office. Looks like she's the one we should vote for.

Congressional District 1
King*, Skagit*, Snohomish*, Whatcom*
U.S. Representative Partisan Office 2-year term

Suzan DelBene -- Incumbent
(Prefers Democratic Party)
Participated in that gun vote "sit-in" last month in Congress. Supports gun control such as BGC, no word on AWB support.

Robert J. Sutherland
(Prefers Republican Party)
On 2A: The American people authorized the existence of the Federal government under a set of criteria. One such criteria was the 2nd Amendment which guarantees ALL Americans have the Right, from God, to "Keep and Bear Arms". This is an unalienable Right.

Alex Storms
(Prefers Independent Party)
No info on gun control. New to politics. Unlikely to be elected.

Scott Stafne
(Prefers Libertarian Party)
Another good candidate. On 2A:
I believe the Founders were correct when they determined that the people needed to retain their arms in case it ever became necessary to use them to end governmental tyranny.
My heart goes out to those who have been injured by senseless gun violence.
But I fear government corruption more than I do random acts of senseless violence by criminals and the mentally disturbed.

John Orlinski
(Prefers Republican Party)
Looks like another good choice. on 2A:
We need to fight for transparency and privacy, protection of our civil rights, freedoms and individual liberties; we need to protect property rights and end government (NSA) spying on its people. We need to restore respect for the Second Amendment and our gun rights.

=========================================

Three good choices from District 1. Gun owners will need to come together to decide on their preferred candidate though. We can't afford to split the vote 3 ways while Democrats pour all their votes into DelBene.

Congressional District 2
Island, San Juan, Skagit*, Snohomish*, Whatcom*
U.S. Representative Partisan Office 2-year term

Brian Luke
(Prefers Libertarian Party)
Former GOP party member, left due to GOP not getting it's act together. No direct info on 2A although libertarians by definition are very 2A friendly. More info needed.

Marc Hennemann
(Prefers Republican Party)
Looks to be strong 2A support, going so far as to say he's against gun control by Executive Order.

Rick Larsen -- Incumbent
(Prefers Democratic Party)
Rated B- by the NRA, voted against suing gun manufacturers, supports national cross-state standard for concealed carry. Supports the NRA Eddie Eagles gun safety training for kids. Holy crap, a gun friendly democrat currently in office! No info on position of AWB.

Kari Ilonummi
(States No Party Preference)
No info on 2A support. Not even a website. Unelectable.

Mike Lapointe
(Prefers Democratic Party)
Looks strongly liberal, no direct info on 2A support but likely favors gun control at a guess. Doesn't look like a serious campaign, not even a website.

===============================================

This one looks a little tricky. We have one 2A strong republican running for office, but we already have a gun friendly democrat as the incumbent. This makes it more of a probability game here. Is Hennemann able to win? Would it be a close race? Larsen may be a safe bet. Luke would be my preference but not sure how likely he is to have a chance.

No matter how this one turns out, at least we get someone who's not a known gun grabber.

Congressional District 4
Adams, Benton, Douglas*, Franklin, Grant, Okanogan, Walla Walla*, Yakima
U.S. Representative Partisan Office 2-year term

Dan Newhouse -- Incumbent
(Prefers Republican Party)
Endorsed by NRA. Think we have a winner, and he's even already in office.

Clint Didier
(Prefers Republican Party)
Hard to tell his positions. His website is offline :/

John (the man) Malan
(Prefers Democratic Party)
No info on 2A position. No website.

Doug McKinley
(Prefers Democratic Party)
No info on 2A position. Parts of website incomplete.

Glenn M. Jakeman
(Prefers Republican Party)
No info on 2A position. Looks very grassroots.

===================================================

Long story short, just vote for Newhouse.

Congressional District 5
Asotin, Columbia, Ferry, Garfield, Lincoln, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Stevens, Walla Walla*, Whitman
U.S. Representative Partisan Office 2-year term

Dave Wilson
(Prefers Independent Party)
No 2A info

Krystol McGee
(Prefers Libertarian Party)
Seems friendly to 2A based on judging his other positions, but he hasn't said anything officially on 2A.

Cathy McMorris Rodgers -- Incumbent
(Prefers Republican Party)
Against gun registration, advocates looser laws on interstate gun purchases, advocates cross-state concealed carry.

Joe Pakootas
(Prefers Democratic Party)
Gun grabber.

Tom Horne
(Prefers Republican Party)
Looks like good 2A support.

===========================================

We have a friend of 2A already in office, I see no reason to vote for anyone else that might split the republican vote and allow a gun grabber into office.
