It's either bill Bryant or bill hirt. Governor They are both Republican..sheriff's have endorsed Bryant. Can't find a 2nd stance for either...better than any of the dems. anyway

Congressional District 6
Clallam, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, Kitsap, Mason*, Pierce*
U.S. Representative Partisan Office 2-year term

Derek Kilmer -- Incumbent
(Prefers Democratic Party)
hard to find info on this, but in the past he has favored mag cap limits, so signs pointing to bad on this one.

Mike Coverdale
(States No Party Preference)
Can't find info on 2A stance

Tyler Myles Vega
(Prefers Green Party)
Nope.
As a peace activist of many years, and a recovered hardcore war gamer,---

Todd A. Bloom
(Prefers Republican Party)
No info on 2A position, appears to be an ex navy sharpshooter. Likely supports 2A?

Stephan Andrew Brodhead
(Prefers Republican Party)
Pro 2A claim, no further info on the subject.

Paul L. Nuchims
(Prefers Democratic Party)
No 2A info, no website.

==========================

Looks like 2 possible choices with one being the more obvious; Broadhead. Chance to get a D-Incumbent out of office although Kilmer has not much real info that I can find on his gun control position.

Congressional District 7
King*, Snohomish*
U.S. Representative Partisan Office 2-year term

Scott Sutherland
(Prefers Republican Party)
No 2A info. No website.

Arun Jhaveri
(Prefers Democratic Party)
Gun grabber.

Joe McDermott -- (NOT the incumbent Jim McDermott)
(Prefers Democratic Party)
Gun grabber.

Leslie Regier
(States No Party Preference)
No 2A stance. Has purple and red hair. The world is not ready.

Don Rivers
(Prefers Democratic Party)
No 2A info, likely anti gun. Also seems anti police.

Pramila Jayapal
(Prefers Democratic Party)
SJW candidate. Almost certainly anti-gun, but no direct 2A info.

Carl Cooper
(States No Party Preference)
No 2A info.

Brady Piñero Walkinshaw
(Prefers Democratic Party)
No 2A info.

Craig Keller
(Prefers Republican Party)
No 2A info.

===================================================

This district looks like it will be a complete tossup. With the incumbent Jim McDermott retiring, it could be anyone's game. Pick the two republicans if you vote in the primary and hope for the best?

Congressional District 8
Chelan, Douglas*, King*, Kittitas, Pierce*
U.S. Representative Partisan Office 2-year term

Dave Reichert -- Incumbent
(Prefers Republican Party)
Voted in favor of 2A on various issues, not a lot of info though.

Santiago Ramos
(Prefers Democratic Party)
No 2A info.

Keith Arnold
(Prefers Independent///No Party)
Looks like he MIGHT favor 2A? doesn't say anything about it though

Tony Ventrella
(Prefers Democratic Party)
Ended his campaign earlier this month.

Margaret M. Walsh
(Prefers We R Independent Party)
No 2A info given. Looks like she would lean towards gun control.

Alida Skold
(Prefers Democratic Party)
No info on 2A, appears she'd lean towards gun control.

===============================================
Reichert it is then.

Congressional District 9
King*, Pierce*
U.S. Representative Partisan Office 2-year term

Adam Smith -- Incumbent
(Prefers Democratic Party)
Rated B by the NRA in 2003. Favors mag cap limits. Voted NO on prohibiting product misuse lawsuits on gun manufacturers.

Doug Basler
(Prefers Republican Party)
No 2A info, more info needed

Jeary Flener
(States No Party Preference)
Looks promising, advocates the constitution and liberties. No direct info on 2A though. More info needed.

Daniel Smith
(Prefers Democrat Party)
Self titled "Berniecrat" but has no info on 2A issues.

Jesse Wineberry
(Prefers Democratic Party)
No info on 2A, looks like he would vote against it though judging on his liberal line.

==================================================

This one is anyone's guess here.

Congressional District 10
Mason*, Pierce*, Thurston*
U.S. Representative Partisan Office 2-year term

Jim Postma
(Prefers Republican Party)
Pro 2A candidate.

Jennifer Gigi Ferguson
(Prefers Democratic Party)
No 2A info.

Denny Heck -- Incumbent
(Prefers Democratic Party)
Little info out there. Voted against a pro hunting bill, voted against a bill preventing the Govt from using funds to enforce certain firearms statutes in Washington DC. Took part in the Gun Vote Sit-In recently.

Richard Boyce
(States No Party Preference)
Little to no info on this candidate at all.

============================================

Race is predicted to be easily won by Denny Heck.

Washington State
Statewide
Governor Partisan Office 4-year term

Bill Hirt
(Prefers Republican Party)
Hard to find info on 2A stance

Patrick O'Rourke
(Prefers Democratic Party)
Little to no info. Almost no chance of him being elected especially over Inslee.

Jay Inslee
(Prefers Democratic Party)
F rating by NRA

David W. Blomstrom
(Prefers Fifth Republic Party)
Nazi.

Mary Martin
(Prefers Socialist Worker Party)
Commie.

Steve Rubenstein
(Prefers Independent Party)
From his page: I support measures to reduce gun violence, but believe most are feel-good measures that will have minimal impact. Good for you Stevie, at least you're honest about it.

Also: As for assault weapons with large magazines, I do not honestly know why any citizen needs a military-grade weapon. I am sure there are hunters who like them, particularly for target practice — and I am happy to hear from people on this. I would be willing to restrict the purchase of these, but I would not personally pursue this as a priority.

Bill Bryant
(Prefers Republican Party)
No info given that I can find on 2A stance. Needs more info. This appears to be the primary contender against Inslee.

Goodspaceguy
(Prefers Republican Party)
Waste of a vote

Johnathan Dodds
(Prefers Democratic Party)
No 2A info given. Likely unelectable.

Christian Pierre Joubert
(Prefers Holistic Party)
Unelectable, no 2A info given.

James Robert Deal
(Prefers Democratic Party)
Unelectable.

=============================================

So the race is likely to come down to Inslee Vs Bryant and there's probably no reason to vote otherwise in the primary outside of Bryant and Hirt, even though I can not find any info on their 2A stance. Better than a known gun grabber though.

Washington Primary candidates? Who will protect the 2nd amendment?

Below is the list of primary candidates for the Cark County Washington Primary and Special Election. Can folks out there help me to identify who the best candidates are as far as protecting our 2nd amendment rights? I don't care what so-called "Party" they affiliate with, only want to know who will stand up to the gun grabbers.

Any notes on who is a gun grabber would also be appreciated.

I sent a message to Hererra-Beutler. She replied in 24 hours stating her strong support for the 2nd ammendment and if the house bill makes it to Senate she'll do everything she can to squelch it.
