WALTHER P99AS .. is there a saftey ??

Just got a Walther P99AS 40cal. in a trade and am thinking about using it as a carry gun .... Is there any kind of safety on it ? As I would like to carry it with one in the chamber .... Or maybe it does not need one ??? Just not familiar with the type of gun ... but want to be ... Thanks for your help ....
