Just seen this on another site. Unbelievable, just one more step in the selling out of America.

CSG might be a good ammo company. I just dislike the amount of American companies being sold off to foreign businessmen.

Fortunately, the only brand under their umbrella that I care about is CCI... and more fortunately... I have enough of that to last my lifetime a few times over. I won't support the continuing foreign take over and those brands are dead to me now.

Selling off another chunk of America stings in principle, but that's also going to open doors for some U.S. based up and coming mfg's to fill some gaps.... I would hope.

I don't see any indication of this being true there Chicken Little.
Really?

They aren't big political contributors and fairly evenly mixed in previous years. A definite shift the past couple years though... it would appear(?) I don't know if that really indicates "woke", and I'm not at all familiar with their corporate culture and policies, but the recent trend is a little disconcerting.

Well.....watch it.

VSTO = Vista Outdoor Inc.

Stock price (10-17-2023) is.......$24.43 a share.
So, today it's down $0.59 or 2.36%.

Do your own research and consider your own investment goals before investing. This is NOT a recommendation to BUY or SELL.

That trend sure looks like someone in the top spot decided to go woke. Let them find out how well that works.

Vista lost hundreds of millions $ when REI boycotted them after the shooting in Florida in 2018.
Coincidence that they are selling off the brands that REI stopped ordering? I think not, money and opinions drive corporations actions nowadays.
What's this now? REI wouldn't carry their products because a shooter used one of their ammo brands?? I musta missed that one.

If true... that sounds to me like REI is the one that needs to go broke. :D

REI boycotted Vista because they didn't make a statement for more gun control after that Florida shooting. Wokeism!!!

"I broke the news in a viral story when both REI and its Canadian counterpart MEC dropped the hydration company along with Blackburn, Camp Chef, Giro, and Bell, after the school shooting in Parkland, Florida."

Well that makes sure I will not set foot in one of their stores here. They (REI) do have some nice stuff but, I will look elsewhere for anything they sell I may want. Thanks for passing that along Jim.

LOL, I've been boycotting REI forever. They were much more interested in selling a membership to their socialist club than actually helping me find what I was looking for. Interesting again to me is they preach being all tree hugging environmentally friendly and the store in Eugene has a giant staircase made of out old growth logs and sell mostly made in China crap.

I've been boycotting REI since before it was cool to do so - because of their extremely high prices. I went in one once and was appalled at what they were asking. That was probably over 30 years ago.

Yes CCI is my main issue too, especially the rimfire lines. As far as Vista being
woke or not IDK. This is going on in several places. I'm not sure if it's the whole state of Oregon but in my part Walmart now sells no ammo or guns. Right across the river in WA the Walmarts still sell guns and ammo.

Don't know who makes these decisions but someone made the call to stop selling in Walmarts in my part of the state.

Don't they sell the same Made in Bangladesh stuff other cheaper places sell, for like 300% more? Only been in their stores a couple of times and was blown away that someone would buy a T-shirt for $75.00!

No mention of it, but I assume that CSG will probably keep the factories here in the USA. I guess we shall see.

I do care about CCI, Speer and Federal - they each make good ammo and CCI/Speer make good reloading components.
