Dang, can't make this stuff up. Secret service called tech hotline for how to work drone before trump shooting. Pitiful. These should be the best in the world not DEI novices.

New Brandon Herrera video proves the suspect was indeed a credible threat even with such a janky setup as a bubba'd SKS with a scope taped on. Frankly I was skeptical but the proof is in pudding.

Of course he was we don't need a YouTube video to tell us that. He was sitting just yards from the green. If Trump continued he would come closer and closer to the assassin and would not be far away at all just like the photographers who sometimes go to similar or the same spot (their credentials are not checked). Even if he had a craptastic handgun he would be a credible threat if he hadn't been found.

I've seen some relatively trusted experts dismiss the credibility of threat on the basis of the janky scope setup, even at the shooter's intended 90-ish yard distance. The thinking was, with a scope that's literally just taped to the stock and receiver cover, it would be impossible to hit anything even at a relatively short distance. Herrera just showed that it's actually very possible to get repeated hits on target at 100 yards with exactly that sort of setup.

Man arrested with guns outside Trump rally in CA.

Let us not forget that this guy just a year or two ago had somehow found his way to Ukraine to attempt to recruit former Afghan government soldiers to fight for Ukraine... That's not "spooky" at all...
Yep, and he utterly failed. Ukraine did not want his help, because he had no military experience, and likely because they realized he was a nutter. He never fought in Ukraine. He just went there, which is dumb but perhaps not so hard to do, entering through Poland. Would he need anything more than passport?
