If he'd used a half-decent bolt-action hunting rifle instead of an AR, there'd probably be different headlines today about a single shot having killed Trump, and all the "compassionate" lefty-"progressives" would be celebrating behind closed doors and on the MSM TV screens.

Doesn't matter what his parents political affiliations are. In America that is allowed. Serious actions are not. I am sure they are just as devastated as most of us. I had read that he was a registered Republican but had donated a small amount to some left group. He had a very small footprint on social media, and little else was found so far. As they say, the lone wolf is the hardest to catch.

I am all for more gun control. I am in complete control of my EDC and my carbine is locked and loaded with 2 spare mags also in my control. How do you ward off murderers if not by counter violence?

Of course, I am in support of having 100% control over my own firearms, and 100% unrestricted 2A rights to free citizens of age; providing they are of generally sound mind. If they're too dangerous to be entrusted with firearms, they're too dangerous to be allowed freedom. Simple as that.
