Travel Across Nevada

I understand that my Oregon CCL is not accepted in Nevada and I need to drive across the state, spending at least one night. As I read their laws, it is legal to have a loaded handgun in the car, glove box, console, handbag, etc. But it is illegal to have a loaded (or unloaded) handgun outside the car like in a backpack or hand carried bag - that's considered concealed carry? How are you supposed to transport it (to and from a hotel/motel) and still be legal? Open carry is legal so do I have to strap on a holster or go OWB?

Concealed is concealed or open carry then...

Don't do stupid stuff and the popo isn't going to jump you and search your bag.

Maybe unload it and put the mag in a separate pocket.

I would open carry personally.

I am going to get a Utah CCW that allows concealed carry in NV.

I have my Utah CCW that is honored in Nevada.
Easy and quick to get: about a month after sending in papers
(faster than OR--Multnomah Co which I sent in at same time)

That does seem to be the easiest way. In actuality, there is probably close to 0% chance of a bad outcome if I just put it in my bag as most people would but I'd rather comply as best I can so it cannot be an issue.
