Just when i though i was done being angry for a while, i find this. I'm working on a response to this and i hope you'll do the same. Here's my rough, rough draft:

I don't even address most of the article, but i like getting to the heart of the matter.

I'm going to have to read that editorial again after getting some sleep. It just sounded like a bunch of space-filling psychobabble cr@p to me.

:paranoid:The difference between a chl and a plumber liscence as they referenced, is the word conceal. I don't think that word could be any more clear! Thanks for posting this, I will have to show this to some friends

Well, criminals know where to go if they want easy pickings, all they need is that guy's address.

As I recall from the original article, the coward who wrote it hid behind "The Oregonian" rather than put his name on in. They won't likely print anything from a citizen without your name though.

The other difference of course is that the right to be a plumber is not guaranteed by the Constitution.;)

The Oregonian serves a 90% left-wing constituency... they've got to sell papers somehow...

I noticed the anti-gun leanings of the The Oregonian when we moved to Pendleton in 1955. The EAST Oregonian, where Dad worked, was not that way.

    Oregonian- Portland, Oregon

    East Oregonian - Pendleton, Oregon.

    Ownership different. Editorial policy different.

Front page Oregonian, upper left corner, little box - "Rain this Morning, sprinkles this afternoon."

Front page East Oregonian, Banner headline - "Rain today!"

    :D
