I'm looking to spend a few days chasing birds somewhere drier than Astoria. I'll be hunting without a dog and most likely solo (unless someone wants to meet up). All i'm working with is the ODFW guide, is anything close to The Dalls or the gorge hunting areas worth the drive? Being a recent transplant there is a lot of ground to cover and any help would be appreciated. I'm just looking for a few flushes to dirty my 20ga.
