Scientists have found substantial evidence that feathers existed on dinosaurs long before that bird fossil.. it's considered now that feathers or at least the precursors to feathers are an ancestral trait of theropod dinosaurs, and thus.. it is more accurate to think of several bipedal dinosaurs to look more like ostriches, emus and cassowaries.
