If your scope does not cost equal to the (precision) rifle then your going into a (perhaps sustained, protracted) period of hostilities w/a unit that may only last weeks, Exceptions for the SWFA SS 10X.

If a shooter can hit a minute of milk jug target @ 300 yards w/22LR an opfor would have to fall back to 400 yards. This is known as 'lose of momenteum'

I stumbled on a PDF on how to turn your Ruger 10/22 into a fully auto select fire rifle.

Anyway, it's interesting and is a must in any post apocalyptic situation. Right now all it would get you is an easy way to put money down the toilet. And a quick 10 years in the state pen, but knowledge is somthing that is legal.
