Was skunked twice on the big C in early April but my last 3 trips in the last 2 weeks has netted me with two nice bright fish & lost another due to inexcusable brain fart of the guy next to me who tangled up while I was fighting the fish (but that's another story)......

Yeah the Big C closed but the tributaries are fishing well but its a secret zipper lip river & if I told ya I'd have to kill ya so.
Ok it's the Cow...... that's all I can say.......

Well back in the day (a lonnngggggg time ago) paddle boats traversed the Cow for many miles.
Barrier dam is a terminal fishery.

Am going to get all I can from the Cowlitz so I don't have to waste $5oo on a week to Drano.
I'll go down for a day or two fishing out of my friends boat though (he lives in Vancouver).

Yes I am, my boat runs at 20knots. Shouldn't take long, maybe go up the early evening the day before. Get through the locks and anchor out for the night ,,,, BBQ and cocktails

Yeah, a lot of people are whining about that but they can't catch em all. Just find out where they were netting and go up river to fish.

The dams are wide open. Just in time to move the fish upriver for the nets.
The only fish caught will be small and have nets marks from escaping.
