    Are we sure there was a shooting? I see no mention of shooting in the linked article. It says his grandparents were killed, but it does not say how.

    hell i think it shows that gun owners arent up to selling to just anyone, after searching he was still unable to actually get one as far as they know. if he had made arrangements to pick one up they would have put that in the article.

    Looks like you are right on this. According to the Seattle Times..... "King County Sheriff Urquhart said they did not die by gunshot".
