That show's just how much people are not paying attention. I don't know how much more blatant he could have been about throwing all of the negative highlights in their face. Yet they still signed the petition.

It is scary. I can understand if a person lives alone and is very elderly, but what about the news stories about people giving random strangers there bank account info or sending money in different ways over the phone believing they are a creditor or other scams.

The majority of people in the United States are soft. They live in fear they will loose what the have and they're stupid enough to believe they will be safe if they trust the Government. Can't cure stupid and the sheeple are living proof. Young people today probable never read the constitution or studied it much more then a glance. They never heard of the Federalist Papers. Even what the know about King is usually verbal and inaccurate. Technically we may have smart people. Socially they live in a dream world and with the legalization of pot being pushed next by the White House, they will really be lost. You gotta hope somewhere along the line there are some little/big problems they knocks the idiots back to reality. Not sure if and when, but getting antsy waiting. Otherwise just keeping stocking up, networking and trying to establish a good fighting position ( I think I mentioned earlier, mine will be my deck over looking the road coming up the valley.)

Americans are the most ignorant, apathetic, and deluded bunch of morons of any social group in human history. Perfect, primed and ready to be dominated and enslaved. Every manipulation and lie is gobbled up like candy. A dictator/Oligarchy's wet dream.
The worse part is the populace of idiots are getting worse and worse day by day. Idiocracy being played out for real. It didn't take 500 years for "Oww my balls!" to get here, we already have it (Tosh.0)
Now, seriously, just forget about saving the nation from tyranny, collapse, etc - that is a wasted effort. Just focus on your individual survival at this point.
No nation can have a populace this moronic and remain prosperous and 'free.'
