Sig doesn't actually make/sell an X-Change kit for the Legion series pistols, except for a 9mm RX version. So if you've got a P229 Legion in 9mm, this is one way to get your hands on the slide you need to make a full multi-caliber collection (you can run a 357 barrel in this slide as well).
This particular setup started out as the top half of my own Legion pistol. I've since picked up the Legion RX X-change kit and a separate dedicated Legion 9mm slide. I'm consolidating calibers, and all my 40 S&W is on the chopping block.
I've put less than 50 rounds through this - the barrel doesn't even have a smiley on it yet.

- Factory Legion P229 40 S&W barrel (if they are any different than standard)
- Factory Legion P229 heavy guide rod and 40 S&W recoil spring
- Factory X-Ray3 night sights (rear sight has been swapped for a U-notch instead of the original square notch)
- THREE Factory P229 40/357 12-round magazines
- 40 caliber pistol bore snake

- Superlative Arms .75" Adjustable Bleed-off Gas Block (Black - clamp on or set screw)
- Quality 300 BLK reloading dies...Dillon carbide sizing die especially
- A new lightweight hunting stock for my Remington 700 7mm Mag CDL SF (thinking a B&C Alaskan, or maybe something carbon fiber from Stocky's, preferably black/grey)
- Norsso P320 "pBentham Compact" slide (9mm)
