SIG P290 vs. Kahr PM40: Side by Side Size Comparison

    Now that I have the SIG P290 in my hands I can easily see that the reports of it being so thick and blocky are completely off base. Here are a few pics that show it side by side with one of the better know gun lines that are known to be very small. The Kahr PM series.

    I am also not seeing what the rumors of a high bore axis are based upon either.

    Thanks for the comparison, I was wondering about this. How would you compare the two as far as the way they shoot?

    It has this odd bell like taper at the end. I guess it is to avoid needing a bushing.

    Well, it is a mixed bag. The Kahr has the far superior trigger...but the SIG appears to point more naturally.

    i love my Kahr PM40 have yet to shoot it tho
