It occurred to me my last post lacked a sense of scale and many may not have heard of a Rigarmi .22 short…so here's the world's most badass defensive pistol with a more known, but vastly inferior, entity (Sig P226), for scale.

Welp, my Star Wars display in the Panic Room is complete for now.

Many of the guns in the various Star Wars movies and tv shows are based upon real guns! All guns in this photo are fully functional/shooters ;-)

From Left to right:

• BlasTech E-11D Blaster(Glock lower, 9mm, MechTech upper). Movie gun build on the Sterling SMG. The weapon of the Death Troopers from Rogue One.
• BlasTech E11 Blaster(Glock lower, 10mm, MechTech upper). Movie gun based on the Sterling SMG. Iconic gun carried by the Stormtroopers in many SW movies
• Han Solo's DL-44 "Greedo Killer" Blaster (built on a fully functional Mauser C96 in 7.63x25)
• Blastech Industries A280-CFE Blaster (AR upper/lower, 22 conversion). Used by Cassian Andor, Rogue One

Picked up this icon- the legendary HK USP 45 Tactical, in the limited run Tan!!

They have only done 2 runs of Tan USP45s- one in 2004, and one in 2023-24. Used Tan ones were going for pretty high price on Gunbroker. Got lucky and got a random 'in stock' alert, and so took a risk and ordered. Looks like it is in fact new old stock, manufactured in 2023-24, and unfired.

Nice addition to the HK collection! PS my black USP45T will be up for sale shortly lol! ;-)

I have NO idea why I didnt buy one of these sooner- freaking suppressed AP5-SD!! Since I suppress everything now, it just seemed like the right thing to do. . . ;-)

Sweet!!! If you have a non flow through can I woudl suggest a 100 degree locking piece or 90 degree (same as with hk sp5). May be able to get away with an 80 too with the suppressor. It ships with 120 degree. Mine won't run with 80 degree but that's with flow through can. I wanted to see if 80 degree would work for "sewing machine" levels of recoil and to find the lower limit where bolt speed is too slow for reliable function.

The flow through cans are very nice.
I get no gas in face from my gassers, they run basically the same with or without the can and most of my rifles are hearing safe with it on.

Just picked this one up yesterday. A S&W New Model #3 in .44 Russian. Shipped in April 1884. Had one that was nickel plated back over 40 years ago and foolishly sold it. Friend had this one for sale, so I snatched it up.

Picked up a project at my recent trip to Colorado at the CGCA gun show also. It's a casting kit for a #7 Rolling Block rifle. Remington built these on leftover 1871 Rolling Block pistol actions around 1903 when the company wanted to use up leftover pistol actions that didn't sell. Workers bent the top tangs and fitted a .22RF rifle barrel to the action, and some unique pistol grip stocks. It's estimated they built maybe 300 guns, so they're rare and way too expensive.
This "kit" was mostly finished with a working action, and a new .22LR barrel. Still needs stocks, sights, and more machine work before it gets polished out and case hardened finish on the action and bluing on the barrel. But much cheaper than the $5k-$10k an original is selling for!

How sought after were these rifles back then ?? Nowadays this rifle demands 2000 to $3000 . Extremely hard to get a good deal on these older rifles

Picked up the new Springfield Operator 1911, .45ACP, Gods Caliber, threaded in OD green with optics cut. Solid 1911!!

Picked up two guns today- the S&W 439 and 459. If you own a 39/59/439/459 wasting away in your closet, you might want to hang on to it- IMO these are about to explode.

Reason why: "The Hush Puppy". That term was derived from Vietnam- SEAL teams requested a suppressed pistol. Military denied it stating it wasnt honorable/rules of war. So SEALS changed the request, stating they didnt want it to shoot humans(which was a lie, they did) to say they only wanted it to 'silence' the many dogs in the villages. It got approved. Thus, the term "Hush Puppy" was born.

The original Hush Puppy systems, the MK22mod0 (which is still technically classified to this day) were S&W 39's that were then modified. It is rumored that only a little over 100 were created. Only TWO are known to be in private hands.

No one has ever made a threaded barrel for these- UNTIL NOW. GregsGuns released a batch, and preorders in place for more incoming, of which I have preordered. You can now literally recreate the ORIGINAL, still classified Mk22Mod0, "The Hush Puppy".

After a day of weedwacking, finally got the home range cleared for the season, so had a nice shooting sesh yesterday evening!

Buddy had just picked up one of the 'blem' Radian afterburner/ramjets for his P365. Since I have a bunch of 365s and grip modules etc, we decided to play "Adult Legos" and do a bunch of side by side comparisons!

We tried every possible config, shooting them side by side one after the other/swapping out slides/frames/barrels. I am not a huge fan of comped guns such as this, and prior to this had zero interest in a Radian Ramjet. Well after shooting and comparing side by side, I will eat crow and say the hype on those is real- it REALLY reduces recoil! Loud AF however, and since I went all in on suppressors, that was the one big negative I have. . .

Best set up/config we came up with was this one- P365 with Ramjet, on the Sig Legion all metal 365 frame. Super soft and flat!

Yay for Adult Legos!
