Should I buy ammo if I don’t have a gun yet

I'm now thinking about buying ammo, but don't have a handgun yet. My argument is I'm good when I buy my gun. Plus if I don't have that caliber I could make a trade. I don't think I will have a problem giving my extra to a good home.

Forget ammo for now, buy 11+ round magazines for guns you want to own in the future. After July 1st it will be more difficult to obtain them and illegal to do so.

As far as ammo goes it's a good time for some calibers and not a good time for others. Magazines are always good though.

Can you sign up to take basic handgun class and they will provide handguns so you can try them. Unless you already know which gun are you going to buy. I would buy ammo and magazines. If you have an AR or AK buy 30 round magazines while they are still legal to bought in Washington State.
