I can't tell you why YOU should defend someone who votes differently than you Foreverlost.
But I can say why I would defend someone , even if we vote or think differently.
I think , if I could safely defend someone I would , simply because they are a person in danger.

I am not saying I am better than you or anyone else .
Nor am I into telling what people should do.
Just throwing the thought out there , that regardless of the other person's beliefs , they are a person who needs help.

Besides in the event of an emergency , how can you tell who is a "sheep?"
What are you going to do conduct a interview first , to decide who you deem worthy to save?
No one can really say what they are willing or going to do when SHTF.
I have four combat tours and I think I know what I'll do , but I wouldn't lay any money down on it until after the event.

Yes, to each their own. I don't have deep pockets, lawyers aren't going to get my last dime. Decision has already been made, I carry for me.

The anti-gun people can call for an LEO. Best of luck for them.

Foreverlost,

Do i believe i am threatened with serious injury or death? Shoot. Do i not? No shoot.

Until youre the guy facing the guy with the pole, you cant answer.
