Shipping ammo?

I have member ask for me to ship some ammo. I have never shiped ammo so does anyone have a clue? on what needs to be done. I know the USPS does not allow it. possibly UPS.

UPS will ship it. It must be marked ORM-D. You're best bet is to schedule a pickup on the UPS website. I have been to many UPS stores that have no clue, and refuse to ship ammo, contrary to UPS policy. The delivery man will always pick it up.

The least hassel is Fed X. All the rifles and ammo from CMP are sent this way. I think 500 rounds of 30-06 ammo from back east was somewhere around $20. It is supposed to call for a signature from whoever receives it.
