I am shipping a 870 fore end back to surefire for fixing, they say ship FedEx or UPS?

Any suggestions as to which is better, more competent, less issues, etc. would be appreciated?

FYI, with either one apparently now, if you call them gun parts, they will not ship. So it sounds like you have a flashlight to ship.

UPS has given me less monkey business overall so I'd go with them but really, I don't have a preference.

They all suck pretty equally. I'd use pirateship to create your shipping label, and go with whichever one is cheapest. Just don't forget to add insurance to cover the value of replacement.

I received a barrel from cz/Dan Wesson via fedex today, they wanted a signature and ID they could scan (driver's license). Good thing I was home.
