I must confess, I was a little surprised and excited that my county (Lincoln) had a SAPO measure vote coming up this fall but after contacting the local sheriff, not so much!

Thank you for your email. I do not support ballot measure 21-189, mainly
because it would require me to determine if any law affecting firearms is
enforceable under the constitution. Which is not the function of law
enforcement and would require legal expertise to interpret.

BS excuse LEO has to use their heads which is why people distrust them now anyhow. IT's easy all gun control is unconstitutional and therefore illegal none shall be enforced. Not rocket science!

Lincoln County Second Amendment Preservation Ordinance Measure 21-189 Shot down. 14380 no to 8532 yes. No big surprise actually since the sheriff didn't support it either. They may actually have to do their bubbleguming job!
