Well I consider those laws part of the history but that aside I have read that concealed carry in general back in the 1800s was considered what criminals do so Ive heard several states banned concealed carry. I cant cite what states as its odd this info isn't easily searchable. A scant mention of this in Wikipedia suggests The constitutions of Kentucky (1850), Louisiana (1879), Mississippi (1890) permitted their respective Legislatures to regulate or prohibit concealed carry, though I don't know if they actually did.Aside from laws restricting what arms could be carried by enslaved and free non-whites, and laws requiring militia members (EG All military age males) to have equivalent arms to the military, what gun control laws were there very early in our history? Local restrictions on carry?
I'm genuinely curious because, I'll admit, gun control before the 20th century isn't something I've really looked into much.
Regardless, even if we start the history with the 1934 NFA act that alone deviates from the 2A "shall not infringe" and the point being its widely accepted, especially by the vast majority of gun owners even to this day.
