For those who don't think Trump/Republicans does enough to defend the Second Amendment.

"Sec. 2. Plan of Action. (a) Within 30 days of the date of this order, the Attorney General shall examine all orders, regulations, guidance, plans, international agreements, and other actions of executive departments and agencies (agencies) to assess any ongoing infringements of the Second Amendment rights of our citizens, and present a proposed plan of action to the President, through the Domestic Policy Advisor, to protect the Second Amendment rights of all Americans."

Well...nice.
However...I am still in the , I'll wait to see if this all pans out , camp.
Been burned too long by far too many of my so called representatives to be rejoicing ...yet.
Andy

Edit to add :

Before anyone takes me to task for my above statement...
No I did not vote for Harris...and I am glad she did not win...we would be far worse off for 2nd Amendment issues under her.

With that said....
I haven't voted for anyone who I liked and trusted for president , since the Perot / Stockdale ticket of 1992.
While I have always voted , any vote since then has simply been a vote against the "other guy " ...or against the worse choice of two bad choices.

MANY gun owners will of course not be happy but do they even stop to think what would be going on if knee pads had won?
And they will continue to say Republicans don't do enough while reminding everyone Trump signed the bump stock ban.

Because Trump is doing this or something else? (maybe I missed something)
A LOT of gun owners did not want him to win. If they had gotten their way she would have. So now of course nothing he does will be a positive to those who have TDS. When you ask them if they really think 2A would be better off if she had won? They change the subject and go back to the TDS lines. They can not be reached.

I have no doubt that any pro 2nd Amendment orders , overturns , repeals , etc....
Will be torpedoed and sunk by Turd Ferguson.

And before I hear any BS about voting....
I did vote.....However I did not vote for him....or others of his ilk.

Cautiously optimistic.

This doesn't really *do* anything on it's face, but if taken seriously by serious people, can lead to some executive actions that can be taken immediately as well as some new bills introduced into congress to apply some long term changes.

I can see this being the catalyst that abolishes the ATF as well as a handful of other unconstitutional federal laws like the GFSZ act and post office bans.

So would this have any affect on local government laws? Like WA's super tight gun laws or would it be on a federal level?
Only federal laws, but states cant infringe on constitutional rights so it may open the door to national reciprocity and end GFZ's in public places, buildings etc.

Got it!

I didn't miss anything!

It appears TDS is more important to some than gun rights or the 2A.
