Last of the metal framed rugers, when it turned up for sale at a good price I bought it. $300 bucks. Sadly it was 9mm, so the hunt was on. Ruger made these in both 9&40, and after some looking found a part set on eBay. Now I have a convertable P94. The 9mm mags feed the 40 just fine. And NO you can't just swap barrels, different dimensions. The 40 barrel has a larger o.d. and is wider at the barrel hood.
It's very close in size and weight to my sig P229, factory trigger pull is quite acceptable.

so now I have a convertible ruger, I will update after a trip to the range.
